JAMAICA, N.Y. - Melissa Ford (Jr., Newport Beach Ca.) had 83 assists over three matches to be named to the all-tournament team at the St. John's Tournament this weekend. She also had 3 kills, 8 digs and assisted on 3 blocks in the Tigers? lone win, a 3-0 victory over Manhattan (15-1, 15-8, 15-6).
The Tigers dropped their first match to host St. John's University, 3-1 (15-4, 15-9, 16-18, 15-9). Ford had 48 assists in that contest while Sabrina King had 25 kills.
Tulsa took out Princeton, 3-0 (15-11, 15-6, 15-8), despite eleven kills by Rose Kuhn.
