Princeton Shuts out Findlay

PRINCETON, N.J. - Abbey Fox (Jr., Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) posted a hat-trick and Annamarie Holmes (Jr., Apple Valley, Minn.) scored two goals to lead the Princeton Tigers (7-6-4, 5-5-2 ECAC) over the Findlay Oilers (16-5-2) a first-year team from Central Ohio.
Princeton scored its first goal of the game when Nikola Holmes (Fr., Apple Valley, Minn.) found the back of the net at the 11:04 mark of the first period. Andrea Kilbourne (So., Saranac Lake, N.Y.) had her first of four assists on the day.
Annamarie Holmes scored just 13 seconds into the second period and then added another on the power play at the 11:47 mark of the second. Fox posted her first goal of the game at the 14:31 mark of the period.
Dani Holtschlag (Sr., DePere, Wisc.) opened the second period scoring at the 8:18 mark on assists from Jessica Fedderly (So., Wyoming, Minn.) and Nikola Holmes. Fox then tallied the final two goals for the Tigers only 24 seconds apart, both goals were assisted by Kilbourne and Nikola Holmes.
Sarah Ahlquist (Fr., South St. Paul, Minn.) and Lexi Fallon (Fr., Basking Ridge, N.J.) combined for the team's third shutout of the season, making only 11 saves.
The Tigers next travel to Dartmouth on Saturday, Jan. 29 and then to Boston College on Sunday, Jan. 30.
