Princeton Falls to Navy in Close Meet

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton men' track and field team returned from the Holiday break with a dual meet this afternoon against Navy at Jadwin Gym. The Tigers came close, but could not beat the midshipmen. The final dual meet score was 69-67.
Adrian Mullings (Fr., Uniondale, N.Y.) and Javius Wynn (Fr., Mechanicsville, Va.) finished first and second respectively in the 55-meter hurdles. Mullings had a time of 7.73 and Wynn clocked in with a time of 7.80. Ryan Smith (So., Morris Plains, N.J.) won the 500 meters in 1:05.23. Matt Notary (Sr., Bethlehem, Pa.) won the 800 meters in a time of 1:54.80. Scott Denbo (Jr., Nashville, Tenn.) won the shot put with a mark of 55' 4 3/4" and Jerry Wilson won the 55 meters in a time of 6.52.
The Tigers will take the next two weeks off for first semester exams. They return to action on Jan. 23 when they host the Princeton Relays at Jadwin Gym.
