Men's Track and Field Set for NCAA East Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J. – Coming off a third-straight Outdoor Ivy Championship win, the Princeton men's track and field team will kick off the NCAA action with the NCAA East Regional on Wednesday and Friday in Lexington, KY.Â
Â
On May 17th, the Tigers completed a third-straight Ivy League Triple Crown with a dominant victory at the Ivy Heptagonal Outdoor Championships. The Tigers won by 89 points, claiming eight individual titles while also setting two Ivy League records and another school record.
Â
With an exceptional season concluded, the Tigers qualified 23 individuals across 25 events for the NCAA East Regional, including squads in both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

In the latest USTFCCCA rankings, the Tigers were in the top-10 in three events, including the steeplechase (sixth), the long jump (eighth) and the 5000m (10th).

The Tigers are led by Jason Vigilante, in his third year at the helm. All three consecutive Triple Crowns have been under his leadership. He was named the 2025 Indoor Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, and the 2026 Indoor and Outdoor Ivy Coach of the Year.Â
