Vigilante, Abdullah and Foster Honored in USTFCCCA Regional Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. – Greg Foster, Robert Abdullah and Jason Vigilante were all honored in the USTFCCCA's Outdoor Track & Field Regional Awards, announced Thursday.
Greg Foster was named Mid-Atlantic Field Athlete of the Year following a senior season that saw Foster break the Ivy League record three times in the long jump, while earning his seventh Ivy long jump championship title - going undefeated all four years.
Foster capped off his Princeton career with another trip to Eugene, where he earned his third First Team All-America honor in the long jump.
Crucial to Foster's success was Assistant Coach Abdullah, who was named the Mid-Atlantic Assistant Coach of the Year.
Abdullah helped recruit and develop Foster through his four years, and he was a key component to his success and that of the Tiger jumpers and sprinters. With 400m runner Joey Gant and the Princeton 4x400 squad earning Second Team All-America honors in Eugene, Abdullah claimed six All-Americans this NCAAs alone.
At the helm of the Tiger program, Vigilante was named the Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year.
Vigilante helped lead the Tigers to a third-straight Ivy League Triple Crown this season. They have completed the trifecta all three years Vigilante has been head coach of the program.
All three Tiger honorees also earned their respective awards this indoor season.
