Princeton, N.J. - Brown bolted out to a 14-7 lead in game one behind the stellar play of Diane Schneider and Corre Myer, but they faced a very resilient Princeton women's volleyball team. The Tigers stormed back to win game one 16-14 with a thrilling string of defensive blocks by Brown, Abby Studer, Ana Yoerg, Michelle Buffum, and Kellie Cramm.
The Tigers breezed through the next two games beating the Bears rather easily.
Kellie Cramm led the Tigers with 14 kills and Ana Yoerg registered a match-high 51 assists.
While the offense usually gets the glory in most wins, it was Princeton's defense that allowed them to sweep Brown. Emily Brown had a team-high four-and-a-half blocks, Studer made four blocks, and Cramm tallied three blocks.
Princeton hosts Pennsylvania next Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Dillon Gym.
