WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Princeton women's water polo team continued to sail through the Mid-Atlantic division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association with three lopsided victories in league action this weekend at George Washington. The Tigers began the day with a 16-3 win over Maryland, followed by a 19-3 rout of James Madison. A 19-7 win in the nightcap over the host Colonials improved Princeton's record to 13-3 overall and 7-0 in CWPA action.
Against Maryland, which defeated Princeton in both the CWPA tournament and the Eastern Championship a year ago, freshman Adele McCarthy-Beauvais (Haydenville, Mass.) led the Tigers with five goals, while classmate Jenny Edwards (Fr., Houston, Texas) scored four times. Katherine Kixmiller (Jr., Menlo Park, Calif.) found the back of the cage twice, and five other Tigers scored one goal each.
Captain Goga Vukmirovic (Sr., Sarajevo, Bosnia) played the entire game in the cage and recorded 10 saves for the win. The Tigers returned to the pool in the afternoon to take on James Madison. The freshman phenom showed her scoring ability once again, as McCarthy-Beauvais scored six goals in the 19-3 win. Four Tigers scored two goals each, including Cassie Nichols (So., Santa Barbara, Calif.) and Megan Bouchier (So., Menlo Park, Calif.).
Lisa Rockefeller (Fr., Lexington, Mass.) recorded seven saves in three quarters of action, and Saroji Sigler (Fr., Miami, Fla.) played one quarter, tallying one save.

McCarthy-Beauvais paced the Tigers with seven goals, while Edwards added five goals. Alina Brown (Jr., University Park, Wash.) and Joanna Armstrong (Fr., Danville, Calif.) each scored twice for Princeton. Vukmirovic made five saves in the first half, and Rockefeller made three saves in the second half.
