Princeton Performs Well at Sea Ray Relays

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Princeton men's track and field team sent several members to the Sea Ray Relays at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn. The Tigers proved they could compete with the nation's best competition, over 65 schools were represented.
John Mack (Sr., New Haven, Mich.) finished eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 47.14. Pat Anglin (Jr., Middletown, N.Y.) finished 38th in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 3:58.55. In a return trip to his hometown, Wes Stockard (So., Knoxville, Tenn.) finished ninth in the open division of the 5,000 meters. David Dean (Fr., Pegram, Tenn.) finished 22nd in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.51.
In the field events, Princeton was led by Jonathan Jessup (Sr., Bryan, Texas) with a first-place finish in the open division of the pole vault at a height of 16-10. Dennis Norman (Jr., Marlton, N.J.) finished seventh in the open division of the shot put with a mark of 52-2.75.
The Tigers will next compete at the UConn Spring Invitational.
