EASTON, Pa. - Even though the Princeton men's track and field team had its meet at Connecticut cancelled due to rain, the women's track team trudged through the rain to make it to Easton, Pa. for the Lafayette Invitational.

Kristi Rosso (Jr., Westchester, Calif.) finished third int eh 3000 meters with a time of 10:20.21. Sarah Rivlin (Fr., Brandon, Miss.) finished just behind Rosso in fourth place with a time of 10:22.04. Tiger co-captain Karen O'Neil (Sr., Medford, N.J.) was sixth in the race with a time of 10:30.08.

Emily Smith (Fr., Denver, Colo.) finished fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:19.11.

The Tigers begin competition at the Penn Relays this Thursday.
