After Four Races, Crew Regatta Postponed Due To Unrowable Conditions

PRINCETON, N.J. - After only four races had been completed, the crew regatta today on Lake Carnegie was postponed due to unrowable conditions. There was a direct tailwind of over 25 miles an hour with whitecaps and standing waves. Competition will resume on Monday morning, April 10, at 7 a.m.
In women's open crew competition against Rutgers and Columbia, the first and second novice races took place, with Princeton finished first in both.
For the men's heavyweight crew against Rutgers, Princeton won the first freshman event, but fell to the Scarlet Knights in the second freshman race by 10 seconds before action was called off.
The entire men's lightweight competition against Georgetown was postponed until Monday.
