#3 Heavyweight Rowing Retains Content Cup Against #6 Brown

PRINCETON, N.J. – The #3 Princeton University heavyweight rowing team won a fourth consecutive Content Cup over #6 Brown Saturday morning at Lake Carnegie in the final regatta of the regular season.
The regatta also served as Senior Day, which saw the Class of 2026, which has contributed to four consecutive Content Cup victories, honored. The Class of 2026 includes Theo Bell, James Burry, Marcus Chute, Josh Cigoianu, Kate Ellis, Liam Foldi, Luke Krongard, George Lathrop, Trygve Bye Løken, Joe McCauley, Maile Organek, Owen Rulyak, Patrick Shaw, Jake Simon and Andrew Wilkinson.
"Today was a fun day to be a Tiger," said Head Coach Greg Hughes. "We finished off our regular season with another positive step forward in every boat. More importantly, today's performance is a testament to the impact that the class of 2026 has had on the success and culture of our team. They have been an inspirational group of leaders who have created an amazing environment for embracing hard work and inviting success. Thank you, Class of 2026!"
The 1V (5:48.6) finished ahead of the Bears (5:51.8), while the 2V (5:49.6) also earned the victory over Brown (5:55.9). The 3V (5:56.8) came out on top against the Bears (6:01.2) while the 4V (6:03.2) and 5V (6:11.7) triumphed over Brown's 5V (6:19.2).
