Brown Leaves Lake Carnegie With Content Cup

PRINCETON, N.J. - The men's heavyweight crew had its streak of three straight Content Cup victories as the visiting Bears sailed to an eight-second victory in the varsity eight race this morning at Lake Carnegie.
The Bears finished the varsity eight race in a time of 5:44.5, with the Tigers crossing the finish line in 5:52.3. Brown also won the second varsity race by three seconds (5:56.2 to 5:59.3). The Bears edged Princeton by three seconds in the first freshman race.
Princeton won the third varsity race with a time of 6:17.6, with Brown being clocked in at 6:20.9. The Tigers also won the second freshman four race with a 7:25.2 finish.
The Orange and Black will return to action on Sunday, May 21, at the EARC Sprints in Worchester, Mass.
