Five Tigers Selected To Participate In USA Hockey Festival

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Three current and two former members of the Princeton women's ice hockey team were selected to participate in the USA Hockey Women's Festival. Junior forward Andrea Kilbourne (Saranac Lake, N.Y.) and junior defenseman Aviva Grumet-Morris (Evanstown, Ill.), along with former Tigers Annamarie Holmes (Apple Valley, Minn.), Amanda Pfeiffer (Berlin, Vt.) and Nikola Holmes (Apple Valley, Minn.), will participate in the Festival Aug. 14-20 in Lake Placid, N.Y.
The Festival will serve as a national-level identification, training and development camp. A total of 72 players will train under the direction of the leading men's and women's college coaches in hopes of being considered for future national level U.S. women's teams.
Participants in the Festival will be divided into four teams of 18 players each and will participate in daily practices and compete in a round robin tournament beginning on Aug. 15. The event will conclude with the championship game on Aug. 20.
