Princeton Drops Two of Three at Rutgers Tournament

New Brunswick, N.J. - Princeton lost the first match of the tournament against Rutgers in three short games. King led the Tigers with 7 kills, and sophomore Michelle Buffum had a team-high 6 digs. The second match against St. Peters was far better for the Tigers as Princeton won in three games by the score of 15-12, 15-10, and 15-11. Buffum led the Tigers with 15 kills and freshman sensation, Kellie Cramm, recorded 15 digs. Princeton lost the third and final match of the tournament to New Hampshire, who dispatched with the Tigers in three games. Emily Brown and Buffum led the Tigers with 11 kills apiece. Princeton (6-3, 0-0) plays next at St. Peters on Wednesday 27th at 7:00 p.m.
