PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Ashley Sennett (Albion, Maine) has been named the IvyLeagueSports.com Rookie of the Week for the week ending Nov. 11. This is her first rookie of the week honor.
Sennett tallied two goals in Princeton's 4-1 win over Northeastern in the first round of the NCAA tournament. She put the Tigers on the board at the 8:22 mark with an unassisted goal. She registered her second goal to put the Orange and Black up 4-1 with just 5:39 remaining. The goals were Sennett's fifth and sixth of the season.
Princeton (17-2) will meet Michigan, a 2-1 winner over Michigan State, at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 at Dix Stadium on the campus of Kent State University. The winner of that game will met the winner of the Maryland/Wake Forest matchup at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18 to determine the 2001 national champion.
