Yeager Helps USA To Three Nations Tournament Championship In New Zealand

Beth Yeager went from leading Princeton to the NCAA championship game in North Carolina in November to a major international championship in New Zealand in January.
Yeager and the United States Women's National Team took the championship at the Three Nations Tournament, defeating the host team 2-1 in the championship game Saturday in the rain in Dunedin. Yeager assisted on the first goal of the final.Â
In all, the U.S. won all four of its games at the event. Yeager finished the tournament with two goals and two assists.Â
The championship game was Yeager's 70th appearance with the national team.Â
