NIAGARA, N.Y. - A power-play goal at 17:58 in the first period by Abbey Fox, assisted by Aviva Grumet-Morris and Andrea Kilbourne, was Princeton's only goal in the 3-1 loss to Niagara at Dwyer Arena Friday night.
Jennifer Goulet and Linda Groff scored in the second and Valerie Hall tacked on third goal in the final period for the Purple Eagles in the win.
Niagara only out shot Princeton by one, 29-28, and freshman Megan Van Beusekom made 26 saves for the Tigers to 27 for Tania Pinelli in goal for Niagara.
Princeton (11-10-2, 6-11-2, ECAC) will face Niagara again on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
