PRINCETON, N.J. - Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award finalist Andrea Kilbourne (Jr., Saranac Lake, N.Y.) and the Princeton women's hockey team continue their run for the playoffs in the final two home games of the season this weekend at Baker Rink.
The Tigers (11-11-3, 6-11-3 ECAC) will take on the Black Bears of Maine (13-12-1, 8-11-1 ECAC) on Saturday, Feb. 24 and the Wildcats of New Hampshire (15-14-0, 11-9-0 ECAC) on Sunday, Feb. 25. Both games begin at 2:00 p.m.
Kilbourne is one of 10 finalists for the Kazmaier Award that recognizes the accomplishments of the most outstanding player in women's intercollegiate varsity ice hockey each season. Kilbourne, a second-team All-ECAC and first-team All-Ivy selection last year, leads the Tigers in scoring with 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points on the season. She needs three more points to match her career-high 44 points that she scored as a freshman. Kilbourne will match up against another award finalist during Saturday's game, Michelle Thornton of UNH.
