VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Tigers defeated the Wildcats of Villanova 14-7 improving their record to 11-6. Villanova was able to hang with a tough Tiger team for the first quarter of play, but the beginning of the second period meant the end for the Wildcats.
Villanova evened the match at 3 apiece with five minutes to go in the first quarter and enter the fisrt break only down 5-3. The Tigers, however went to work in the second quarter, scoring 4 goals that allowed Princeton to enter halftime up 9-4.
Jenny Edwards, who has been a scoring powerhouse all season, led the tiger offense with 6 goals. Adele McCarthy-Beauvais and Cassie Nichols each tallied three goals in tonight's game. Goalie, Jenny Hildebrand finished the game with 10 saves.
The Tigers defeated the Hawks of Hartwick, 11-6. Cassie Nichols led the Tigers in scoring with 4 goals.
