PRINCETON, N.J. - While the Princeton women's track and field team hosted Penn in a dual meet at Weaver Stadium and most of the men's team competed at Penn in the Penn Invitational, Tora Harris was winning the high jump competition at the Sea Ray Invitational, the nation's biggest meet of the weekend, in Knoxville, Tenn. Harris won with a jump of 7' 3.25" beating out Olympian Steve Smith and this year's indoor champion and All-American Shaun Guice of Purdue.
The Penn women's team totaled 89 points to finish ahead of Princeton's 61 points. Catherine Casey (4:42.09) and Kate Reid (4:43.41) went one-two in the 1,500 meters as did Liz Morse (58.19) and Kellie Cramm (58.45) in the 400. Becca Desman won the high jump (1.64 m), Lauren Simmons (2:10.97) won the 800 and Becky Haarlow took the triple jump (38' 3.25").
