Men's Golf Finishes Second at Navy Spring Invitational

Annapolis, Md. - The Princeton men's golf team earned a second-place finish in the Navy Spring Invitational on Sunday (297-303=600), as it finished seven shots behind the winning team from Georgetown University. Nat Hoopes shot 145 (68-77), and he defeated Georgetown's Nick Cook on the first playoff hole to win medallist honors. James Milam finished in 15th place with a two-day total of 151, and Peter McWhorter finished in 20th place with a score of 153.
The Tigers host Pennsylvania, Columbia, Dartmouth, Penn State, Rutgers, St. John's, William & Mary, Georgetown, Lehigh, Rider, Iona, Maryland-Baltimore County, Navy, Temple, Villanova and Seton Hall at the Princeton Invitational on April 13-14 at the Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J.
