Princeton Lightweight Women Win Third National Championship

CAMDEN, N.J. - The Princeton women's lightweight crew won its third national championship with a win in the grand final over Wisconsin at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships. Princeton won the race with a time of 6:47.5, defeating Wisconsin (6:53.36) by more than five seconds.
The men's heavyweight varsity eight placed second (5:37.76) behind defending national champion California (5:34.62). The men's lightweight varsity eight won the petite final with a time of 5:51.79.
The men's freshman eight finished second (5:48.51) to Washington (5:46.15). Both the second varsity eight (5:54.18) and the freshman four (6:53.23) placed sixth. The varsity four with out coxswain placed second (6:25.57) to Wisconsin (6:22.31) and the men's open four with coxswain placed sixth (7:06.20).
