Wrestling Defeated By No. 17 Central Michigan, 34-7

PRINCETON, NJ - Matt Fisher (So., Pompton Lakes, NJ) and Greg Parker (Clifton Park, NY) each won their bouts, but the Princeton men's wrestling team dropped a 34-7 decision to No. 17 Central Michigan on Friday night at Dillon Gymnasium.

Parker, ranked No. 6 in the nation at 174 lbs., got the match started with a 8-0 major decision over Tony Gansen. The Chippewas tied the score 4-4 before Fisher won a 10-8 decision over Bill Stouffer at 197 lbs. to give the Tigers a 7-4 lead. That lead would not last long as Central Michigan ran the tables to win with match 34-7.

Princeton is now 3-16. The Tigers travel to Rutgers on Saturday, Feb. 16 for a 7 p.m. match.
