Sarah Rivlin Finishes First in 1,500m at Lions Invitational

Ewing, Pa. - Sarah Rivlin captured the 1,500m title as the Tigers competed at the Lions Invitational, hosted by The College of New Jersey. Rivlin's time of 4:49.30 placed her 1.60 seconds in front of Amy Burr, who finished in second.
Shannon Smith finished seventh in the 100m dash with a time of 13.29. Didi Yep finished fifth in the 400m, crossing the finish line at 1:00.67 and teammate Kate Moore finished in 18th with a time of 1:07.89. Competing in the 800m, Debby Jacobson placed 21st, recording a time of 2:28.40.
Liz Grau and Becca Hylander finished fourth and sixth in the 5,000m with times of 18:42.00 and 19:08.70. Carrie Strickland finished sixth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:09.42 while Princeton's Da;ia Bach finished tied for first in the pole vault, clearing 3.05m.
Rachel Rosemeyer and Betsy Kennedy finished second and third in the discus with marks of 39.53m and 38.84m. In the hammer throw, Rosemeyer and Kennedy went 8th and 9th registering marks of 39.82m and 39.23m.
