Princeton, N.J. - Princeton's Emily Kroshus was the lone miler to break the five minute mark as the Tigers defeated Rutgers 87-55 in a dual meet hosted in Jadwin Gym. Princeton also captured the 1,000m and 3,000m titles.
Kroshus took first in the mile with a time of 4:57.71. Teammate Pilar Marin took second crossing the finish line at 5:08.55 and Princeton's Laura Petrillo took third with a time of 5:09.94. Team captain Christine Iseman and Jordan Wagonseller finished one and two in the 800m.
Randy Buzzell captured the 1,000m title with a time of 2:57.55. Princeton;s Carrie Strickland finished second (2:58.32). Cack Ferrell and Meredith Lambert finished first and second in the 3,000m with times of 9:55.01 and 10;05.17. Elizabeth Grau took first in the 5,000, crossing the finish line at 18:43.77.
Chelo Canino cleared 12'2" to capture the pole vault title. Princeton's Chanel Lattimer placed second in the 300m with a time of 42.14. Rutger's Jenee Todd finished first, crossing the line at 41.28.
