PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Kellie Cramm and junior Alex Brown led Princeton with 14 kills each as women's volleyball cruised to a 3-0 (30-18, 30-22, 30-27) victory over Dartmouth at Dillon Gym on Saturday afternoon.
With the Ivy League crown still in reach, the Tigers did not falter against the Big Green, burying them in the first game with 21 kills on just 38 attempts.
Princeton again breezed by in game two, though the efficiency dropped, but struggled in the third game before finally pulling away for the three-point win and the sweep.
Sophomore Jenny Senske had 38 assists and 10 digs to lead the Tigers in both categories. Sophomore Brittany Wood had a team-high three blocks. Junior Ashley Weber had nine kills, sophomore Lauren Grumet added eight, and Wood chipped in four.
Sarah Nadler led Dartmouth with 15 kills, Nadine Parris had nine, and Kainoa Fialkowski added eight. Chelsea Morgan had a team-high 37 assists.
Princeton is home again Monday at 7:00 pm against Columbia before traveling to Penn to end the season Wednesday night in a game that could give the Tigers a share of the Ivy League title.
