Anderson Named ECAC Player of the Week For Second Time in Three Weeks

Princeton, N.J. - For the second time this season and the fourth in her career, Princeton senior forward Gretchen Anderson was named the ECAC Player of the Week. Anderson recieved the honor after posting five goals and two assists in wins this past weekend over Yale and Boston College.
On Friday, Anderson provded the spark to lift Princeton to a 3-2 win over Yale. The senior from Natick, Mass., scored all of the goals, including the game-winner with five minutes left in the third period.
She followed that performance up with a four-point outing on Sunday as Princeton routed Boston College 8-0. She assisted on Princeton's first two goals in the win, then scored the third and seventh Princeton goals. On the weekend, Anderson posted two power play goals, one shorthanded goal and one game-winning goal.
Anderson currently leads the nation in total goals scored with 15.
