Baird's NCAA Run Comes To An End With 13th-Place Showing

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton senior Michael Baird placed 13th in the 1-mile run at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayettvile, Ark. over the weekend. Baird, Princeton's lone representative at the meet, finished his race in 4:15.10
A fast preliminary race was won by Arkansas' Chris Mulvaney, who ran a 4:05.41. The cut-off time was a blistering 4:06.03, ran by Ohio State's Rob Myers.
Baird and Princeton now turn the outdoor season, which will commence with this weekend's spring break training trip and meet.
