Men's Track In Third Heading Into Final Day Of IC4A Championships

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton men's track team qualified the 4x800-meter relay team as well as three individuals into Sunday's IC4A finals at Weaver Stadium. The Tigers have 22 team points and sit in third heading into the final day of competition.
Jon Bell led the field on Saturday with a first-place showing in the 1,500 preliminaries. Bell ran a 3:49.94 to win his race.
Two Tigers qualified for Sunday's final in the hammer throw. Josh McCaughey, who finished second in Saturday's competition, registered a throw of 195-10. Mark Smith also advances to the final with a toss of 187-00.
The 4x800-meter relay team, consisting of Alexis Tingan, Jon Kieliszak, Josh Kauke and David Dean also advance.
West Virginia leads in team points with 29, Manhattan is in second with 23.
