No. 6 Women's Open Crew Routs Field In Final Regular-Season Regatta

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 6 Princeton women's open crew swept Oregon State, Rutgers and George Washington Saturday morning in its final home regatta at Lake Carnegie. Princeton swept all four races, including a dominant performance in the first varsity race. The Tigers claimed that win by more than 16 seconds against No. 14 Oregon State.
Princeton is now finished with its regular season. Next up is Eastern Sprints, which will be held in Camden, N.J., on May 18. Princeton last won the the Eastern Sprint championship in 1997, when the Tigers topped second-place Brown by 1.1 seconds in the grand final. Last year, Princeton placed fourth.
