Track Team Concludes Competition At East Regional

Fairfax, Va. - The inaugural East Regional track and field championships concluded on Saturday in Fairfax, Va. Princeton competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as well as on the field at George Mason University.
Tristan Colangelo led the way for the Tigers, placing fifth in the men's steeplechase. Colangelo ran an 8:50.85 and qualified for the NCAA Championship meet while teammate Josh Ordway finished 16th in 9:11.68.
On the women's side, Laura Petrillo placed 16th in 10:58.07. Roisin McGettigan of Providence won the race in 10:03.55.
Tim Releford finished 10th in the javelin (63-64m) to give Princeton seven points for the meet and a 23rd place finish on the men's side.
