Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Princeton men's golf team gained one position in the team standings in the final round of The McLaughlin at BethPage Red. Princeton leaped over Boston College to claim the top-five finish, 21 strokes off of first-place Maryland.
Princeton's top finisher was Creighton Page who shot a final round 71 to tie for 13th in the tournament. Brent Herlihy was three strokes behind him in 24th, while John Sawin shot a 77 and ended up 26th. Greg Johnson (34th) and Jesse Dixon (38th) rounded out the Princeton golfers.
The Tigers next compete next weekend at the Temple Owl Invitational.
