Princeton, N.J. - Current Princeton women's hockey sophomore Liz Keady and recent grads Gretchen Anderson '04 and Andrea Kilbourne '03 will be among the 21 players representing the United States at the upcoming Four Nations Cup this week in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Keady and Anderson were named to the team following their participation in the USA Hockey Women's Festival in August. Keady was also on the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select team that met Canada in a three game series. She was the second highest scorer for the team with two goals and an assist.
Anderson is making her senior debut for Team USA after participating in the Women's Festival in August, while Kilbourne, a 2002 Olympian, notched four points in five games at the recent World Championship.
Both Anderson and Kilbourne were Patty Kazmaier Award candidates in their time at Princeton. Anderson was named first-team All-ECAC last season while was named second-team All-ECAC in each of her four seasons at Princeton.
The tournament begins for the U.S. against Finland on Wednesday, and continues with a game against Canada on Thursday in Burlington, Vt., and a game Saturday against Sweden back in Lake Placid. The medal games will take place on Sunday.
The Princeton women's team will be without Keady when the Tigers host Brown and Harvard this weekend at Baker Rink.
