Becky Brown, who had 20-plus scoring performances the past three games, scored 10 first-half points to keep Princeton within five, 16-11 at 12:27.
The Bears then went on a 13-2 run in five minutes, building a 29-15 lead with six minutes remaining in the half. Two Princeton shot clock violations and three straight outside shots for the Bears put the Tigers down 23-13 at 8:53. Robertson then scored seven of Brown's next nine points and stepped out of the paint to hit a three-pointer and give the Bears a 32-16 lead at 3:35.
Lena McAfee, who scored six first-half points off the bench, hit a three before time expired and the Bears had its biggest lead, 35-16 at the break.
Princeton was outscored 19-3 in the last 11:45 and scored just one point in the final 8:43. The last Tiger field goal was at 11:46. The Tigers shot just 30% from the field and hit 1 of 5 three-point attempts.
Brown, who out-rebounded Princeton 23-9, got 14 points in the paint and seven points off second chances. Robertson and Tanara Golston had 11 and eight points off a combined 9-for-11 shooting.
The Bears kept pace in the second half by scoring the first four points. O'Brien hit two threes and Lillie Romeiser sparked the Tigers with a three and an assist but Princeton never came within 17 points after intermission.
