Eleven Players Score In Water Polo's 18-3 Win Over Slippery Rock

Lewisburg, Pa. - The women's water polo team split on the final day of the Bucknell Invitational, defeating Slippery Rock 18-3 and losing to Hartwick 9-7.
Eleven different Tigers scored against Slippery Rock, including six in the first quarter. Samantha Shaughnessy scored three goals and added three steals for the Tigers while Danielle Carlson had two goals and four steals. Lauren Lister had six saves in four quarters in goal for Princeton, which went 5 for 6 on its man-up opportunities.
In the Hartwick loss, the score was tied in the fourth quarter before the Hawks pulled ahead by one in the final minute and sealed the win with another goal as time expired. Elyse Colgan led the Tigers with four goals while Jazmin Brown added three. Princeton went 4 for 6 on its 6-on-5s and Madeline McCarthy made five saves in goal.
