Andrea Kilbourne '03 Named to U.S. National Team

Colorado Springs, Colo. - Princeton graduate Andrea Kilbourne '03 was named to the 2004 U.S. Women's National Team that will compete at the 2004 IIHF Women's World Championship this spring in Hailfax and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
This marks Kilbourne's first appearance in the World Championships. She has however represtented the United States before, as a member of the 1999 and 2000 U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team and as a member of the 2003 U.S. Women's Olympic team. In Salt Lake, Kilbourne recorded two points (1-1) in five games.
In her four seasons at Princeton, Kilbourne was a two-time candidate for the Patty Kazmaier Award, women's hockey's equivalent of the Hobey Baker Award. She graduated last season amassing 170 points on 76 goals and 94 assists, which ranks her fifth all-time in the Princeton record books.
The U.S. opens the tournament on March 30 against Switzerland.
