Men's Tennis Falls to 44th-ranked Brown, 7-0

The 44th-ranked Brown men's tennis team won all six singles matches, including four in straight sets, on the way to a 7-0 victory over Princeton Saturday afternoon at the Lenz Tennis Center.
Princeton's Tim Kofol and Sratha Saengsuwarn won at No. 2 doubles to bring the doubles point to its decisive match, but Brown's Jamie Cerretani and Ben Brier held on for an 8-5 victory over Hans Plukas and Andrew Lieu at No. 3. and Brown took the doubles point.
The Tigers took two of the six singles matches to three sets. At No. 2, Darius Craton won the second set against Nick Goldberg before Goldberg won the third set, 6-2. At No. 6 singles, Hans Plukas lost the third set in a tiebreak after defeating Zach Pasanen 6-1 in the second set. Dan Friedman played well at No. 1 singles against the highly-ranked Jamie Cerretani, Brown's No. 1, but fell 6-4 and 6-4.
The Tigers travel to Harvard and Dartmouth next weekend.
