Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton women's hockey team recently named current junior Becky Stewart and current sophomore Heather Jackson its captains for the upcoming 2004-05 season.
"Becky and Heather together have the right blend of compassion and toughness," says head coach Jeff Kampersal. "Their play on the ice speaks volumes as does their effort in the classroom and community. I am confident they will do a good job leading our team next season."
Jackson will be Princeton's leading returning scorer. Last season she ranked second on the team with 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points. Stewart posted 12 points last season on four goals and eight assists and will be one of just three seniors on the squad.
