Needle Pines, N.C. - The Princeton women's golf team shot rounds of 317 and 304 to place sixth through two rounds at the Ross Resorts Invitationals at Needle Prines. Princeton entered the tournament after the Pat bradley Championships in Miami was cancelled as a result of Hurricane Wilma.
Princeton is currently sixth in the 12-team field. Georgia State leads the field with a two-round total of 598. Augusta State, Richmond, Yale and Rollins complete the top five. Princeton's 621 is two strokes behind Yale and fivv behind Richmond.
Marlowe Boukis ranks fourth in the field after a 76 and 73 for a two-round 149. Sharla Cloutier makes it two Tigers in the top 10 as she is tied for ninth at 152 after rounds of 78 and 74.
Augusta State's Emilie Geury leads the field with a 145.
The tournament continues tomorrow.
