Paige Schmidt Earns Third-Team All-America Honors

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton field hockey sophomore Paige Schmidt was named a third-team All-America selection on Tuesday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The honor was the fourth of the year for Schmidt, who also won the Ivy League Player of the Year award, was named first-team all-Ivy and first-team all-region.
Schmidt's selection to the third team represented one of two Ivy League players on any of the three All-America teams. She becomes the 20th player at Princeton to achieve All-America status. Princeton has had at least one player selected to an All-America team in every season since 1991.
Schmidt led the Tigers in scoring with 29 points and 11 goals. Her seven assists ranked second on the team. She also led the Ivy League in points and goals.
