Five Princeton Field Hockey Players Named to NFHCA All-Academic Team

Five Princeton field hockey players, including at least one from the freshman, junior and senior classes, have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Academic team.
Seniors Shahrzad Joharifard and Jen Elliott, juniors Lauren Ehrlichman and Ali Shames-Dawson and freshman Courtney Devlin were all selected to the team. The NFHCA All-Academic Team honors field hockey players who had a grade-point average of 3.30 or higher during the 2004 fall semester.
Princeton was also honored with the NFHCA Team Award for academics. The Tigers were one of 57 NCAA Division I teams with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2004 fall semester.
The Tigers finished 7-10 overall in 2004 and 5-2 in Ivy League play.
