Gaudiel Named First-Team All-Ivy in Women's Hockey

Princeton, N.J. - Princeton women's hockey junior goaltender Roxanne Gaudiel was named first-team All-Ivy today by the Ivy League. Gaudiel was the highest ranked Ivy League goaltender in the national goals-against average and save percentage rankings.
The Venice, Fla., native makes her first All-Ivy team, but, her presence marks the fourth season in a row the the first-team All-Ivy goaltender has worn Princeton's Orange and Black. Megan Van Beusekom earned the honors from 2002-2004.
Gaudiel is 15-8-5 this season. She outranks all Ivy League goaltenders in goals against average and save perctentage. Her 1.79 goals-against ranks sixth nationally and her .929 save percetage is good for fifth. She also has six shutouts, which ties her for second in the nation.
Sophomore forward Liz Keady was named a second-team All-Ivy. Keady is tied for Princeton's team-lead in points with 27 and has 14 goals ands 13 assists. Sophomore defenseman Dina McCumber was named an honorable mention All-Ivy. McCumber has two goals and 18 assists this season for 20 points to lead all Princeton defensemen.
