Princeton would get all the runs they needed in the bottom of the first, when senior Melissa Finley hit a homer off the first pitch to the centerfield fence and gained a two-run lead. Freshman Beth Dalmut added another run for the Tigers with a double to the right-center gap in the second inning. Catcher Ty Reis's sacrifice bunt moved Dalmut to third base and freshman Lauren Bierman drove in Dalmut to record her second RBI of the day.
Snyder picked up the win for the Tigers, giving up no runs on four hits and added eight strikeouts. Princeton is the only team that remains unbeaten in the tournament and has held its opponents scoreless, while earning three homeruns in four contests.
