Princeton, N.J. - Five members of the Princeton women's water polo team received all-league honors from the Collegiate Water Polo Association as the Tigers completed their season last weekend with a fourth-place finish at the 2005 Eastern Championships. Sophomore Elyse Colgan led the Tigers as she was named the CWPA's Southern Division Most Valuable Player for the second year in a row.
Colgan additionally received first-team All-Southern honors for the second-straight year and was named to the Eastern Championship's First All Tournament-Team.
Joining Colgan as first-team All-Southern were teammates: sophomore Jazmin Brown, junior Megan Donahue and freshman Natalie Kim. Sophomore Danielle Carlson was named second-team All-Southern.
Additionally, head coach Luis Nicolao was named the Southern Coach of the Year for the third time in his tenure with the women's water polo team. He was also the coach of the year in 2000 and 2001.
