Three Women's Hockey Players Named to ECACHL All-Star Team

Princeton, N.J. - Three members of the Princeton women's hockey team - senior goaltender Roxanne Gaudiel and juniors Dina McCumber and Kim Pearce - were named to the 2005 ECAC Hockey League All-Star team that will face the U.S. Women's National Team on Nov. 1 at Yale's Ingalls Rink. The trio will face off against Princeton's Liz Keady, who is taking the year off from school to play with the U.S. team.
Fans can watch the game broadcast on CN8 in markets in the northeast. The game will air at 8:30 p.m.
Team USA's Hilton Family Skate to 2006 Tour includes 11 games. The tour kicks off Sept. 30 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. with a game against the WCHA All-Stars. The tour is designed to prepare the team for the upcoming Olympics in Torino.
The third game of the tour will take place on Nov. 1 at Yale and will feature the team of ECAC Hockey League all-stars. Princeton is one of six teams in the league to have three representatives on the all-star team. Three schools have one representative. The tour will come to the Princeton area in mid-December when the U.S. hosts Finland at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton.
