The Princeton men's swimming and diving capped off two intense weeks of training with a tri-meet against swimming powers Tennessee and Virginia. A strong effort from freshman Robert Griest indicated positive EISL results for the future, but the Tigers dropped both meets.
Princeton fell to Tennessee 133-85 and lost to Virginia 119-91. Tennessee won the overall showdown, topping Virginia 135-108.
Griest won the 500 free in 4:38.12, and he placed third in the 1000 in a time of 9:27.05. Junior Meir Hasbani also had a strong meet, placing second in the 200 fly in 1:50.46 and finished fourth in the 200 IM in 1:53.19.
Senior Will Reinhardt placed third in the 50 free in 21.20.
