Tigers Down Marist 12-2 in Women's Water Polo

PRINCETON - The 18th-ranked Princeton women's water polo team ran its record to 2-0 on the young season with a 12-2 win over Marist this afternoon at DeNunzio Pool. Elyse Colgan led the Tigers with three goals in the win and Princeton is back in the pool later tonight to face No. 17 Indiana.
Princeton jumped out to a 6-0 lead after one period and extended the lead to 10-0 after two periods. Colgan opened the scoring 1:13 into the game and Anne-Lise Maag and Jazmin Brown each added two goals in that opening period.
Maag, Carolina Ardila and Zitren each added two goals in the win for Princeton. Natalie Kim made five saves through two periods for the win.
