PRINCETON - Princeton freshman forward Annie Greenwood picked up her second ECAC Hockey League Rookie of the Week award this season on Monday for her performances in three games last week. Greenwood had three goals during the week, two of which were game winners.
Greenwood scored had the game winner in the Tigers' 3-0 win over Quinnipiac last Tuesday night. She followed that up with the team's lone goal in its loss to St. Lawrence on Friday. On Saturday, she capped the weekend with the overtime game-winner against Clarkson. Her goal against the Golden Knights was her team-leading 18th goal of the season. She scored her three goals on 12 total shots.
The award is her second this season. She has also been named to the league's honor toll on two occasions. Greenwood has goals in her last four games, dating back to a two-goal performance against Cornell on Jan. 14.
In addition, senior goaltender Roxanne Gaudiel was named to the league's honor roll after posting a pair of shutouts last week. It was her second honor roll selection and she has twice been named the Goaltender of the Week.
Princeton is back in action on Friday night when Harvard visits Baker Rink.
