No. 2 Women's Lights Sweep Georgetown, Eye Showdown With No. 1 Radcliffe

PRINCETON - The No. 2 Princeton women's lightweights will stay where it is in the national rankings this week, thanks to its sweep of Georgetown Saturday at Lake Carnegie. The Tigers will look to make its move next weekend when it welcomes No. 1 Radcliffe to Princeton next weekend.
Princeton won the first varsity race in 5.3 seconds, finishing in 7:16.1 against the No. 4 Hoyas. Princeton had comfortable wins in both the fours (8:14.2) and the novice (7:35.2).
The Tigers will now focus on Radcliffe, which has stymied them twice this season. The Crimson won the season-opening dual race at the Windermere Classic and topped a loaded field at the Knecht Cup in Camden. Princeton placed second in that race, defeating national champion Wisconsin to secure the No. 2 national ranking.
