Princeton Women's Volleyball Announces 2006 Schedule

The Princeton women's volleyball team, led by 2005 CVU.com National Libero of the Year Jenny McReynolds and 2005 Ivy League Rookie of the Year Parker Henritze, has announced its 2006 schedule. The team, which will open its Ivy League schedule Sept. 30 at the Palestra, will compete in three tournaments prior to its first Ivy League match.
Princeton will open its 2006 season in Hamilton, N.Y., at the Colgate Invitational. The Tigers will tangle with host Colgate Sept. 8 at 6 p.m., and will take on Canisius and Siena the next day. The following weekend will take Princeton to Bucknell, where the Tigers will take on LaSalle, Wagner and the host Bison during the Bucknell Invitational. The final preparations will come at the Red Flash Invitational at Loretto, Pa., where Princeton will open Friday night against Coppin State. Princeton will also face Stony Brook and host St. Francis on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The Tigers will make their home debut one day after their Ivy League opener against Penn. On Sunday, Oct. 1, Princeton will take on Division III power Juniata at 2 p.m. at Dillon Gym. The Ivy League home opener will be Friday, Oct. 13 against defending Ivy champion Cornell.
